Seed Needs, a Seed Company on a Mission for Change, has been providing gardeners with quality seed products since 2010, shipping millions of packets to happy customers across the US. Their diverse offerings include flowers, herbs, vegetables, vines, wildflower blends, seed packet collections, and seed packet favors.
With the success of their brand, Seed Needs has kept its promise to continually donate to various organizations and personally sponsor over 100 children worldwide each month - a feat they are immensely proud of and grateful for the support that made it possible.
Seed Needs' packets are beautifully illustrated, providing a colorful depiction of the variety inside, along with the common and scientific names, seed quantity, and growing specifications. The reverse side of each packet contains full growing instructions, including sowing details, sunlight and moisture preferences, and germination and growth information. A QR code is also provided for easy reordering.
Seed Needs' seeds are always non-GMO, untreated, and stored in a temperature-controlled facility free of moisture. They are packaged for the current and following growing seasons, true to the variety advertised, and 99% pure with no added fillers.
Bishop's Flower, also known as "Queen Anne's Lace," is a popular annual flowering plant grown from Ammi majus flower seeds offered by Seed Needs. These plants will produce flat heads of small white flowers displayed in neatly formed clusters atop long, branching stems, reaching a mature height of 18 to 30 inches and a width of 18 to 30 inches.
To grow Bishop's Flower, the seeds should be sown directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. The small seeds should be scattered on the surface of well-drained soil and pressed in about 1/8 inch, as they require light to germinate properly. The plants will thrive in full sun to partial shade, with temperatures between 60°F and 70°F, and will begin to germinate within 10 to 20 days.
Seed Needs was originally started by the owner at just 15 years old, with the goal of bringing the family closer, retiring the father, employing friends, and most importantly, helping people. The company offers a wide range of open-pollinated, heirloom favorite flowers, culinary and medicinal herbs, and popular heirloom vegetables.
Seed Needs is committed to quality, providing fresh, properly stored seeds in generous quantities, with beautifully illustrated packets and detailed growing instructions. They also take great pride in their charitable efforts, sponsoring over 100 children monthly and donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the ASPCA.
