Southern Moon Yedda Hawthorn - 3 Gallon Pot
Rhaphiolepsis umbellata 'RutRhaph1' (PP#207,30), also known as Southern Moon Yedda Hawthorne, is an exceptionally strong evergreen shrub prized for its profusion of showy white flower clusters that cover the shrub just prior to the new flush of foliage. The leaves of this vigorous, compact, mounded, and dense shrub are glossy and deep green with wavy margins, reaching a mature height of 3-6 feet tall and 6-8 feet wide.
This versatile plant is excellent for foundation plantings, borders, hedges, or containers, and it grows well in USDA zones 7-10, thriving in full to partial sun. Southern Moon Yedda Hawthorne is relatively low maintenance and prefers well-drained soil, though it can tolerate soil that is not completely dried out.
