A Small Family-Owned Business in Idaho
We are a small, family-owned business hailing from Idaho. Our employee base consists of family members and friends, as we grow together with our customers and community. Our passion lies in gardening and enriching the lives of others through the cultivation of flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruits.
Locally Sourced from the United States
Our seeds are sourced from high-quality farms, predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. We only sell the best seeds, as we understand the importance of integrity in growing food to nourish your family. The health of our future is a driving force behind our business. The majority of our seeds are Heirloom and Non-GMO.
Introducing Isla's Garden Seeds
Isla (pronounced Eye-Luh) is the youngest member of our family. We named our company after her because she is the anchor for the six of us, filling our home with a playful, vibrant, and colorful joy, akin to a garden. If you've purchased seeds from us since our business's inception in 2017, you may have received a rare packet with her photo on the front.
Lolo Rosso Lettuce: A Delightful Variety
Also known as red coral lettuce, this variety features light-green leaves with beautiful magenta edges. The heavily frilled, fan-shaped leaves form a compact rosette, averaging 5-8" in length. The leaves have a slightly bitter and nutty taste.
Sowing and Caring for Lolo Rosso Lettuce
These seeds are great for planting in your garden or storing in a seed safe for emergencies. Direct sow the seeds in rich soil and full sun, spreading them as thinly as possible in rows 1-2' apart. When the seedlings begin to grow, thin them to a distance of 6-8".
