The Dianthus Baby Doll variety grows low to the ground with a spreading habit, producing a profusion of flowers in an array of colors, including deep crimson, rose, pink, and white. The blooms have intricately serrated petals and emit a jasmine-like scent.
This productive flower germinates in 14-28 days when the soil temperature is between 60-65°F. To plant, simply sow the seeds 1/8" deep and space them 6" apart in an area with full sun. The Dianthus Baby Doll variety will grow 10-18" tall with a spread of 8-12" and will mature in 70-80 days, making it suitable for USDA zones 4-9.
